Challenge

Ubiquity — a global outsourcing firm supporting innovators in financial services, healthcare, and e-commerce — had grown rapidly, but its digital identity hadn’t kept pace. Over time, their brand had become fragmented across platforms and regions, lacking the clarity and warmth that defined their human-centered approach to customer experience.

As part of a wider rebrand, Ubiquity wanted to refresh their online presence while keeping the existing logo. The goal was to stand out in an increasingly crowded market, to express the company’s unique balance of human expertise and technological innovation through a more cohesive, scalable, and modern digital experience.

The Outcome

I helped bring this rebrand to life through a complete rebuild of the Ubiquity website. The challenge: we needed to retain key components and content from their existing platform while transitioning to a modern tech stack that would better support their long-term goals.

We chose Next.js for performance and scalability, and Builder.io as a flexible, headless CMS. This combination allowed us to deliver a high-performing, design-driven site that marketing teams could easily maintain.

Migrating the existing data into the new system wasn’t straightforward — Builder.io’s API limitations, differing data structures, and costly environment management posed serious challenges. But by carefully mapping old content models to new ones and streamlining migration scripts, I successfully rebuilt and migrated the site on time and within budget, ensuring no loss of content or functionality during the transition.

Solution

To give Ubiquity’s team full creative flexibility, I helped develop a library of 30+ custom components powering over 15 reusable page templates. This system allowed the marketing team to spin up campaign pages, resources, and landing experiences without developer assistance.

One of the biggest pain points in their old system was manual spacing and layout control, every page needed individual tweaks. I solved this by building intelligent, self-adjusting components that automatically maintained visual consistency across layouts and devices. Now, editors could focus on storytelling and data entry while the design system handled responsiveness and spacing automatically.

The result was a cleaner, faster, and more maintainable platform that finally reflected the sophistication and humanity at the heart of Ubiquity’s brand.
